Requirements for Türkiye Citizenship by Investment
To qualify for citizenship, the primary applicant must meet one of the following investment criteria:
Real estate investment: Acquire at least USD 400,000 worth of real estate.
Fixed capital contribution: Invest a minimum of USD 500,000.
Turkish bank deposit: Deposit at least USD 500,000 into a Turkish bank account.
Government bonds: Invest at least USD 500,000 in government bonds.
Real estate investment fund: Commit at least USD 500,000 into real estate investment fund shares or venture capital investment fund shares.
Private pension system: Commit at least USD 500,000 into a private pension system for a minimum holding period of three years.
Job creation: Create jobs for at least 50 people, as certified by the Ministry of Family, Labour, and Social Services.
The main applicant may include their spouse, dependent children under the age of 18, and children of any age living with disabilities in the application.
Procedures for the Türkiye Citizenship by Investment Program
Investment Option: After selecting the investment option, applicants will apply for a residence permit.
Bank Account: The main applicant is required to open a Turkish bank account.
Documents and Investment: The required documents will be prepared, including translations and certifications. The investment is to be made in Turkish lira, equivalent to the USD amount.
Biometrics: The applicant must visit Türkiye to submit biometric data for the residence application.
Citizenship and Passport: Once the application is approved, citizenship documents will be issued, and the passport application can be submitted.
